For the launch event of the collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Omnium, I had the pleasure of building a custom soundsystem installation around the limited-edition cargo bike. Welded steel frame, stacked cabinets, ratchet straps, and a DJ booth on top. The result was heavy, loud, and massive.
Started from a shared love of do-it-yourself culture, the build draws inspiration from Jamaican sound systems and on the unwieldy, loud bike builds of Queens, echoing the desire to "never hear anything so heavy in your life".
